Legacy Outsourcing is hiring a Senior Accountant in Ahmedabad for UK-based accounting and taxation work. This role is ideal for candidates with 2–3 years of relevant experience who are confident in managing UK accounting assignments independently.

Legacy Outsourcing is a leading UK-based accounting and outsourcing firm expanding its team in Ahmedabad. We’re looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented Senior Accountant with strong practical experience in UK accounting and taxation who can independently manage client work and support junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, journals, and ledger reviews using XERO and Excel.
• Prepare and review VAT returns in line with UK VAT and Making Tax Digital (MTD) requirements.
• Prepare UK Self Assessment tax returns and supporting documentation.
• Assist with Corporation Tax computations, tax schedules, and submissions.
• Prepare year-end accounts, working papers, and corporate year-end files.
• Review financial records to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
• Liaise with clients and internal teams to obtain information and resolve accounting queries.
• Support, guide, and review work completed by junior accountants where required.
• Manage multiple client assignments and ensure work is completed accurately within agreed deadlines.

Requirements:

• 2–3 years of experience in UK accounting, taxation, or outsourcing services.
• Strong working knowledge of XERO and advanced Excel skills.
• Good practical knowledge of UK Self Assessment, VAT, MTD, Corporation Tax, and year-end processes.
• Experience preparing year-end accounts and supporting schedules.
• Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client assignments and work independently.
• Ability to work full-time from our Ahmedabad office.
