Legacy Outsourcing is hiring a Junior Accountant in Ahmedabad for UK-based accounting work. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of UK accounting and taxation processes.

Legacy Outsourcing is a leading UK-based accounting and outsourcing firm expanding its team in Ahmedabad. We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with UK accounting experience who is keen to develop their expertise across bookkeeping, VAT, tax, and year-end accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance using Excel and XERO.
• Assist with VAT return preparation and Making Tax Digital (MTD) compliance.
• Support the preparation of UK Self Assessment tax returns.
• Assist with Corporation Tax computations and year-end accounting processes.
• Prepare working papers, maintain accurate client records, and resolve basic accounting queries.
• Support senior accountants with accounts preparation, reports, and client deliverables.
• Communicate professionally with the team and manage tasks within internal deadlines.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of accounting experience, preferably within the UK accounting domain.
• Good knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, Excel, and XERO.
• Familiarity with UK VAT, MTD, Self Assessment, Corporation Tax, and year-end accounts.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop within the UK accounting sector.
• Ability to work full-time from our Ahmedabad office.
